2013 Africa Leadership Training Summit on the 10/40 Window in Juba, South Sudan
In March 2013, WIN leaders and delegates from Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Myanmar, Pakistan, and the USA converged in Juba, South Sudan for a leadership training summit. Delegates and leaders made many important decisions and valuable commitments to ensure that the all-encompassing sphere of God's influence is felt in the 10/40 Window nations.
The major outcomes of the summit included the decision to disciple and train Church leaders and workers from South Sudan to carry the Gospel to the Arab world. Members of a ministry that works with top-level government officials offered to train Church leaders to play a vital role in the drafting of the constitution in South Sudan.
The Deputy Minister for Information in South Sudan attended the summit. Church leaders chose him to act as liaison between the Church and the government in the effort to bring about tribal reconciliation. Furthermore, at the summit, a summit leader made the commitment to train South Sudanese to start businesses. Also, summit delegates were given the opportunity to share views on a Godly involvement within the educational system in South Sudan.
The summit came to a close with prayer. Summit delegates prayed for the 10/40 Window nations over the nations' flags. It was powerful!
