Transforming The 10/40 Window Nations Through The Power of Prayer

Prayer Initiative: High Places Prayer Patrol

The Sanskrit word that translates "abode of snow" is "Himalayas." Widely known for the tallest mountain in the world, this tall, towering mountain range spans India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. It is home to several people groups and three main religions are practiced here: Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam. The serenity of the snowcapped mountains conceals the turmoil that the people of this region have long endured. They suffer acute physical turmoil resulting from years of fighting. They are also victims of spiritual bondage resulting from not knowing the love of Jesus Christ-the God who became Man.

Over 426 unreached people groups live in this region. These people have not yet heard of the love of the Savior or have long resisted His gentle prodding. This is where every Christian Believer comes into play. Victory is won when Christian Believers come together to make intercession for a people floundering in darkness.

Believers are invited to join in the High Places Prayer Patrol, a prayer initiative put together by Prayercental. Believers are called to pray that the peoples of the Himalayas come into the fold of Jesus Christ. Believers are invited to connect, patrol, pray, worship, and pioneer. Learn more at High Places Prayer Patrol.

Pray for the isolated people of the Himalayas. Pray that God would break down every barrier of resistance so they may come into fellowship with God (The Bible, Isaiah 56:7).

Pray for the missionaries that work among the people of the Himalayas. Pray that God would strengthen them as they work tirelessly to bring the Gospel to the nearly 426 unreached people groups (The Bible, Jeremiah 29:11-13).

Pray for a rich harvest of souls as Believers intercede (The Bible Psalm 2:8).
