Sister Beverly Pegues, President and CEO
Beverly Pegues is the co-founder and President of the WINDOW INTERNATIONAL NETWORK (WIN), a Christian organization developed to inform, equip and mobilize networks of prayer around the globe to empower effective evangelism, church growth and discipleship in the 10/40 Window. WIN is known worldwide for launching and facilitating the annual Praying Through the Window prayer initiatives, which have mobilized millions of believers globally for the past eleven years.
A career paralegal turned minister, Sister Beverly is a gifted and passionate speaker at conferences, churches and retreats nationally and internationally and has convened many conferences on prayer, spiritual warfare and missions. She is a true intercessor and has led prayer journeys and spoken in a host of countries and regions. Her delightful, contagious personality reflects the warmth and love of Jesus as she ministers on subjects from prayer, praise and worship to maturing in our faith.
Beverly is the primary author of WindoWatchman I and is also the editor of WindoWatchman II. These books document the signs, wonders and miracles the LORD performed in the lives of the people in the 10/40 Window nations, prayer journeyers and home-based intercessors during the Praying Through the Window initiatives. Beverly is also the co-author of a book, The Move of the Holy Spirit in the 10/40 Window with Luis Bush. This volume is filled with testimonies and stories straight from the harvest fields, depicting the mighty move of God. Beverly's latest book, Prayers for Children, Teens and Young Adults in the 10/40 Window, co-authored with Nancy Huff, was published in February 2002. You'll be inspired and awed at what God is doing among the people of the 10/40 Window. Prayer booklets for Sudan and Afghanistan will be published this year, and WIN's Children's Curriculum is also being finalized.
Beverly attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) and also earned a Paralegal Certificate from UCCS. She has taken numerous law office management and paralegal classes from Denver University School of Law and Continuing Legal Education of Colorado and studied management at Pikes Peak Community College. Beverly was a real estate broker and had her own realty company, called the Pegues Agency. Beverly is the founder and director of a youth-based performing arts group, The Academy of Black Arts. She is also the recipient of the Woman of the Year Award from the Colorado Black Women for Political Action, and a member of the International Third World Leadership Association. Beverly is also an Executive Board Member of the International Prayer Council. Beverly attends New Life Church and lives in Colorado Springs. Her adult daughter, LaTonya lives in southern California.
