ONLINE:The Gambia

Musa woke up with a smile on his face. He was excited about going to school today. It would not be like any other day. His heart skipped a beat as he thought about the guest speaker that was coming to his school to talk about making a difference in his homeland, The Gambia. At an early age, Musa was sad when he thought about the many young children like him who had been hurt by evil people who just wanted to make a lot of money. Musa knew deep down in his heart, that one day, he’d grow up to make changes that would help Gambian children to live in safety and under the protection of the good leaders of his country. Musa never wanted to see one more friend mistreated or hurt ever again.

  • Pray for protection over all the children living in The Gambia.
  • Pray that The Gambian government will continue to open the country to missionaries to freely share the Gospel of Jesus.
  • Pray that children would be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live their lives for Jesus in an Islamic country.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for the miracles that are happening in The Gambia. Thank you that there are children coming to know Jesus. Lord, please protect the seeds of Your Word that are being planted in their hearts. We pray that nothing would be able to weaken their faith in You. Thank you that missionaries, pastors and church leaders have favor with The Gambian government. We pray for thousands of children to come to know you in 2009! In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen!

Lord, we believe the promise of Deuteronomy 31:7-8 for every Gambian child: “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
